Rachel Stratton (She/Her)
Co-Director of Movement and Choreography; Director of Development
Rachel Stratton (she/her/hers) is a senior from Fort Wayne, IN, pursuing a BFA in Dance through the IU Contemporary Dance program, and is thrilled to work as Co-Director of Movement and Choreography and Director of Development for the 2024-2025 University Players season! She is currently a writing tutor at Writing Tutorial Services here on campus, as well as the Development Intern and a Touring Company Member at the Fort Wayne Dance Collective, where she also acts as a guest teaching artist during breaks at IU. Some of Rachel's recent choreographic and performance experiences have been New Moves/New Directions (Dancer; 2022, 2023, 2024), Prism of Motion (Choreographer, "a plea to the void"; 2024), Falsettos (2024), Cultural Immersion (Dancer; 2023), Afterimages (Choreographer, "In Place of Convalescence"; 2023), SLIP (Dancer/Choreographer; 2022, 2023), Journeys of Joy (Dancer; 2022), and From the Ground Up (Dancer; 2021). She cannot wait to work more with UP during her senior year!
